• Email sending & deliverability — Mautic ships no sending infrastructure. You wire up a provider or MTA and own authentication, IP warm-up, blocklists, and bounce handling yourself.
• Scaling — tuning batch sizes, queue workers, and the database as volume grows.
• Upgrades — Mautic version updates can break plugins or leave installs inconsistent, so backups and staging are mandatory, not optional.
• Support — community forums and docs unless you pay for commercial support through an agency or Acquia.
